Dausa district has remained humid for the past several days due to rain and sometimes sunshine.
Wednesday is the last day of the month of Ashadh and the month of Sawan will start from Thursday, but the people of Dausa district are still waiting for the rain. However, during the pre-monsoon period, the entire district had received good rainfall simultaneously, due to which the farmers had started sowing of Kharif crops. After this, people are not getting relief from the heat and humidity till now due to non-simultaneous rain in the district.
Although Bandikui and Mahuva region has received rain several times, but people of Dausa, Sikrai and Lalsot regions are still waiting for the parallel rain. Till Wednesday morning, 25 mm of rain was recorded in Morel Dam, with the Bandikui area being waterlogged due to rain.
At the same time, the weather became pleasant for some time due to intermittent rain in other areas of the district, but later the humidity made people sweat. Talking about the rain so far, according to the Meteorological Department, 138 mm of rain has been recorded in Dausa district from June 1 to July 13, while according to the Irrigation Department, 183 mm of rain has been recorded. Which is 32 percent more than last year. The percentage of rain in the figures may be high, but many parts of the district are still waiting for good rains.
