Dozens of farmers including farmers Ramlal, Rajaram, Rattiram, Madhusudan, Lokesh, Satyanarayan, Prahlad Singh told that about 50 to 60 farmers leave on the common road. In such a situation, there is a problem in going to the fields due to the flooding of rain water. At the same time, tractors and other agricultural means are not able to reach the fields for tillage, plowing and other work. Nor can we take our pets to the fields. The fear of poisonous creatures somewhere in the rainy drain remains with the farmers. Large thorny bushes have also grown on the way from the bypass to Jagannath's field. Due to this the farmers are facing a lot of trouble. Regarding this, the farmers submitted a memorandum to the Gram Panchayat and Tehsildar and demanded the drainage of rain water filled in the common road. Naib Tehsildar Shiv Singh Jadaun told that the water filled on the common road would be disposed of as soon as possible with the help of gram panchayat and patwari and kanungo.
298.27MM rain so far
The district has received 298.27 mm of rain since June 15 as compared to the average rainfall of 900 mm in Jhalawar district. Jhalawar city has received 5.6 mm of rain till 4 pm on Wednesday.
