On Tuesday evening, on the culvert of Parvati river on the Madhya Pradesh border in Chhabra police station area of Baran, a woman riding a bike was washed away due to falling into the river. The team of MP and SDRF of Rajasthan was engaged in the search of the woman, but the woman was not traced even on the second day on Wednesday.
SDRF team in-charge Badrilal said that Rajpal Yadav, resident of Chowki village and his wife Preeti Bai (22) were returning to their village on Tuesday after visiting from a religious place on behalf of Guna in Madhya Pradesh. At around 2 pm, his bike was hit by a bike coming from behind, due to which the bike became unbalanced. Due to this Preeti Bai Parvati fell into the river. Her husband Rajpal was buried on the bike and remained on the culvert. The people present on the spot informed the police administration about the incident. On receiving the information, SDRF teams also reached from Baran and nearby MP. The team started the search operation on Wednesday morning itself, but the woman could not be traced till evening. The rescue team is also facing a lot of trouble due to the strong current in the river. Here, the villagers say that the security wall on the culvert was damaged for a long time, but the administration of both the states did not pay attention.
