Lawrence has planned to kill Salman Khan four times. But, due to the conspiracy hatched in the jail, he could not succeed. For this the rifle was even bought, but before that Lawrence's henchman was caught. Even Lawrence was the one to send a threatening letter to Salman Khan's father Salim Khan.

This has been revealed in the interrogation after the Musewala murder. Lawrence's name cropped up after the murder of Punjabi singer Moosewala. After this, the Delhi Police interrogated Lawrence. Later, a rifle with a longer range was bought for four lakh rupees and brought it to Sampath. But Salman was caught before he could be killed. After this two more attempts were made, but did not get a chance to kill Salman.
