Controversy over parking clearance
Atendra (26), a youth of Barauli Chauth village of Deeg police station area, said that on July 10, a youth named Bali had opened the parking outside the village. The same day the police uprooted it as illegal. Bali was an acquaintance of Atendra. Bali said that the SHO of Deeg police station, Ganpat, is demanding a bribe of Rs 10,000. Atendra wrote a message against SHO Ganpat in the local social media group Shan-e-Lohagarh.
Atendra had put a post in the WhatsApp group. In which he had accused SHO Ganpat of demanding a bribe of 10 thousand rupees.
Atendra accuses SHO of bribery
Atendra wrote in the message that 'We have opened parking in Puchhri area. Deeg Sadar SHO Ganpat is saying that if you don't give 10 thousand rupees, I will not allow parking. A sarpanch is also accompanying him. There are about 80 people in the group. When this message reached SHO Ganpat, he got furious. Atendra alleges that he was sitting outside the village at 6 pm on July 10. At that time an ASI named Vinod Chaudhary came on the bike. He said that he wanted to talk, sat on the bike and took it with him. At 6.30 pm, the ASI took Atendra to the nearest post. Kept sitting at the post for about four and a half hours. After this, at 11 pm, he took him to the Deeg Sadar police station.
Beaten by 4 policemen overnight
Atendra alleges that at 1 o'clock in the night, SHO Ganpat, policemen Toofan, Govind, Ramesh Chand came drunk and started beating. The policemen uprooted their hair. beaten badly. They kept on beating for a long time. After this, the next day on July 11, the policemen of Deeg police station took him to Deeg hospital for medical treatment at 9 am. He threatened her not to tell anyone about the assault. He was not even allowed to take off his clothes in front of the doctor. Was very scared because of the beating. Atendra has bruises all over his body. SHO Ganpat says that he has not been assaulted.
