Due to old enmity, the accused entered the victim's house, where they attacked the father and son with a knife after beating him with sticks. The father son who was injured in the attack was brought to the Rajkheda Hospital with the help of his family members. From where both were referred to the district hospital for treatment.
The injured Salim (48) son Hakam Ali, who was admitted to the district hospital, told that he is having an old dispute over water with Shaukat Ali, who lives in the neighborhood. Due to which, after a quarrel again on Thursday night, Shaukat along with his three sons Shahid, Sabir and Hameed entered their house armed with sticks and knives. Where the accused mercilessly beat up the father and son with sticks and injured them with a knife. After the assault, the accused took away Rs 3700 and a gold chain kept in the house.
On getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and searched for the accused, but the accused fled after carrying out the incident. Rajkheda police station in-charge Ajay Meena said that a case has been registered against the named accused on the complaint of the victim regarding the matter. After taking the statement of the injured, the search has been started for the named accused, who will be arrested.
