Hepatitis B and C screening was started under the Healthy Liver campaign. The campaign started with the prisoners in the district jail. The prisoners were examined in the jail. CMHO Dr. Chhotelal Gurjar himself went to the jail and took stock of the screening work.
He said that samples of all the prisoners have been taken. In addition, the prisoners were counseled on drug and tobacco cessation. Psychiatrists Dr Kapoor Thalor and Dr Mukesh Jhajharia examined all the prisoners. Microbiologist Dr Harish Kaushik, Epidemiologist Dr Kuldeep Faujdar, District IEC Coordinator Dr Mahesh Kaddasara were also present on the occasion along with CMHO Dr Gurjar. Jail Superintendent Pramod Shekhawat, Jail Dispensary in-charge Dr Narendra Singhoya and Jailor Nisar Ahmed made CMHO a jail visit. On this occasion, CMHO also planted saplings in the jail.
