ASI Bhup Singh said that on July 9, the victim Rajendra Patwa son Harishankar resident Ward 60 Sureshia had lodged a case at the Junction police station. According to the report, his bike was stolen from Ward 60 Junction on July 6 by some unidentified thief, after which the junction police registered a case and started investigation. The police started the search for unknown thieves from the place of bike theft from Ward 60 to CCTV at many places in the city. During this, the junction police rounded up three youths resident of 20 LLW and started interrogation.
The three youths caught in the interrogation Jaspreet Singh alias Jasia (24) son Sukhdev Singh resident Chak 20 LLW, Yudhveer Singh alias Dudia (19) son Sukhdev Singh resident Chak 20 LLW and Harvinder Singh alias Mahanti (19) son Jaldhar Singh resident Chak 20 LLW Confessed to the incident of bike theft. ASI Bhup Singh said that the police presented the three in court and got their remand granted. During the remand period, 5 stolen bikes were recovered on the spot of the three youths, after which all three were sent to jail after presenting them in the court.
