Bajaur says that the inspiration to install the statue of martyrs also came from Jhunjhunu district itself. On this, Bajaur had announced to get the statues of all the martyrs made at his own expense. Since then he has been continuously engaged in the installation of the statue of the martyrs. Along with the construction of the idols, Bajaur is also bearing the expenses of the unveiling ceremony. The statue of Shaheed signal man Anil Kumar son of Sajjan Singh Yadav of Buhana Raipur Ahiran will be unveiled on Sunday.

So far, 35 crores have been spent on statue making and unveiling: Bajaur has got the statues of 522 martyrs installed in the state so far. While more than 700 idols are proposed to be installed. For this, about 35 crores have been spent.

Sculptures being made in Jhunjhunu

Bajaur idols are being manufactured in Jhunjhunu district itself. Where sculptor Virendra Singh Shekhawat, a resident of Khudania, is busy in giving embodiment to the martyrs and freedom fighters. Shekhawat said that so far they have prepared statues of more than 900 martyrs. Now Bajaur has also instructed them to make statues of freedom fighters.
